Drinking alkaline water is the simplest thing that you can do to improve your health. The Alkaline, Antioxidant Water Filter Jug is the new way of providing alkaline, antioxidant, mineral-rich, clean water without the need for electrical or plumbing connections.

These are the refill filter cartridges for use in the Alkaline, Antioxidant Water Filter Jug. Each filter contains:

- Coarse particle pre filter to stop visible particles from entering the filter bed.

- Fine polypropylene mesh pre-filter to prevent any small particles or sediment from entering into the filter media and clogging the filter media.

- Activated carbon granules to absorb Chlorine and organic compounds such as Benzene (if present in your water).

- Ion Exchange resins to attract and hold heavy metal contaminants such as lead, copper, and cadmium.

- Antioxidant balls: decrease the Oxygen Reduction Potential of the water and make it antioxidant water.

- Alkaline balls: release magnesium and calcium ions into the water increasing the alkalinity and enriching the mineral content of the water.

- Final poly propylene fine filtration to stop fine particles that may have come through previous filtration steps.

Each alkaline filter cartridge will last for approx 6 to10 weeks (150+ litres of filtered water) before requiring replacement. In areas of very hard water, the filter may need replacing a little more frequently.
