Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P-5-P) is the biologically active form of vitamin B6. For the body to use vitamin B6 in many metabolic processes, it is dependent on certain nutritional co-factors, such as zinc, magnesium, beta carotene and vitamin B2. This formula contains vitamins B2 and B6 with magnesium, zinc and beta carotene. Vitamin B6 assists in the production of essential brain chemicals, as well as assisting the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates and is essential for cellular growth.
