Preparing Your Body for Winter
The autumn is an important time of the year for preparing the body for winter. As the seasons change, so should a person’s diet and habits. The last crops are being harvested, and new foods and vegetables are coming into season. The hedgerows are full of wonderful natural remedies such as rose hips (natural vitamin C) and elderberries (Sambuccos Niger). There are, of course, a number of supplements that can help you ease through autumn into winter without any hiccups. Or possibly sneezes.
Many people choose to take Echinacea throughout the winter months to help keep their immune systems healthy. Echinacea can also be taken when you feel the onset of illness.
